Terms of Service

Terms governing the use of PDFOnline.

1. Agreement

These Terms govern use of PDFOnline at pdfonline.io. By using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If acting for an organization, you represent that you can accept them for it.

This pre-release legal draft requires review of the operator, address, governing law and consumer notices before paid production launch.

2. The Service

PDFOnline provides browser-local PDF tools and an account-based workflow that processes supported invoice PDFs, presents suggested values for human review, and exports reviewed results. You remain responsible for review. The service is not accounting, tax or legal advice.

3. Accounts and acceptable use

You must control the account email and protect access to it. You may not process material without rights, use the service illegally or abusively, bypass security or billing, introduce malware, or automate access through an interface we have not expressly provided.

4. Your content

You retain your rights in submitted files and grant us only the limited right needed to operate, secure and support the service under the Privacy Policy and your instructions. Do not upload regulated or highly sensitive data unless the service expressly supports that use case. PDFOnline does not claim HIPAA, PCI DSS, government, qualified-signature or records-archiving compliance.

5. Plans, credits and payment

  • Free Trial: 20 credits, expiring 30 days after first cloud use.
  • 7-Day Pass: USD 5 for 300 credits, expiring after 168 hours.
  • Pro: USD 15 monthly for 1,000 credits per billing period.

One standard invoice page uses one credit under the disclosed policy. Credits do not roll over. Paid access is granted only after payment is verified; a checkout redirect is not proof of payment. Pro cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period unless law requires otherwise.

6. Deletion and account closure

You may request deletion of eligible cloud content. Completion is shown only after it is recorded. Account closure revokes sessions, stops renewal where applicable and starts deletion or anonymization. Operational backups and legally required records may follow separately documented retention periods.

7. Intellectual property

The service, interface, branding and software are protected by applicable law. Open-source components remain under their licenses.

8. Availability and changes

We may update the service, limits or Terms and will communicate material changes where required. The service is provided on an “as available” basis, with implied warranties disclaimed to the maximum extent allowed by law.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. The operator's aggregate liability is limited to amounts paid during the twelve months before the event, except where law prohibits that limit.

10. Governing terms and contact

Paid launch is blocked until the production Terms identify the operator, governing law, venue, effective date and required contacts. Questions may be sent to support@pdfonline.io.
