AcroForm flattening is not sanitization, redaction, password removal or layer flattening. XFA forms, comments, signatures, attachments and hidden content are outside this tool’s scope. Flattening can invalidate digital signatures.

If the PDF has no AcroForm fields, the worker writes an equivalent copy.
